Ride report: We had a fabulous time last Friday with 40 starting the yoga ride and 30 ending up for a taught yoga session targeted at cyclists at the Sheffield Yoga Centre
Ali prepared a high quality handout for all the riders and as soon as I have worked out how to get it from pdf into another format I will put it up.
More soon v pressed with other stuff

Start: Public Entrance to Ponds Forge 6.30 pm SHARP

Ride Leaders: Ali Coldwell and Bridget Strong

Theme:So many Yoga centres popping up in Sheffield..so we start in the city centre at a generic gym, i.e. Ponds Forge which may be most people’s conception/experience of the generic term yoga and then we are going to cycle to places where different forms of yoga takes place and learn about stuff like Ashtanga, Buddhist philosopy/8 limbs of yoga and finish at the Sheffield Yoga Centre. There we get a cup of tea and a 30 minute taught Iyengar lesson specifically designed for cyclists, getting everyone doing a simplified version of Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (google it ha! ha!)

Cost: The ride is free, the taught session is £3.99 (tea, mats, space and teacher provided). You can book a place on Eventbrite (preferred by us so we can plan) or you may pay on the night
Limited to 40 places you can book here
