Friday 16 May 2014
Green Homes Sheffield
Start 6.30 pm Barkers Pool

Theme: This fits into Sheffield Environment Weeks.
The Green Homes Sheffield Project has a month of events in May for the Green Homes residents to welcome visitors and show off how their homes have used alternative technologies for a more sustainable lifestyle.
They are being ambassadors for green living and we are going to ride to and visit these homes, we’re even have soft drinks in the garden at one of them.
We will probably have two squads of cyclists at some points (Meersbrook, Nether Edge, Pitsmoor) – how many cyclists can you squeeze into a terraced house? – so we will split up, circulate and meet up again to continue to next sites/sights.
You won’t need to bring slippers but don’t trash the joint!
We have never done something like this before but then that is a good enough reason to try and do it for a first time.

What could possibly go wrong?

Like what you see?
Then check out the Green Homes Sheffield schedule on their website and book some more visits in for yourselves either before this ride or for the last two open days on the 17 and 18 May.
The curators for this ride are Jenny Patient and Susannah Diamond .

Heads up!: all on roads, some in a shocking state, so tough tyres a good idea, Bring lights and a lock, & all the places we stop have space for off-road bike parking
